[ARCHIVED] Tracking ID Process with Automation

What do universities use to help track and automate the ID process workflow?  Specifically, is there some system where you can load a list of courses, start dates, assigned ID and have it send automated reminder emails to the faculty, allow IDs to add notes, and track the status of the ID workflow for each assigned course?

TL;DR - Does an ID workflow management system exist?

Great question and I'm curious how other institutions are handling this.

We have been experimenting with this lately.

We found some institutions using basic Excel but prefer something more automated. We found another institution that handles it in Service Now ticketing system.

We have recently started using Smart Sheets but it takes awhile to setup and haven't found useful templates.
