Hello, I help with resource and I have my own course set up, if I copy an assignment that a student needs to complete --and when they submit via my course it there a way to also submit it to the original assignment- with the teacher??

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but I'll take a shot at it.  If I am understanding your question correctly, you are asking if an assignment from one course is copied to another course...can the student submission from one course be submitted to the assignment in the other course at the same time?  Am I interpreting your question correctly?  If so, this is not possible.  Assignments exists in each course separately.  Once an assignment is copied from one course to another course, there is no connection between the two.  So, if a student was enrolled in your course and in another instructor's course, the assignment would have to be submitted twice...once in each course.
