Can someone explain how a student can achieve a quota that looks like the attached? I can't find anything about how Canvas calculates such 'overages'. The student said that's not mathematically possible. She's right. It's not. What's going on?

I have a guess. With course quotas at least my observation has been that if you are under quota you can still upload files, even if that file puts you over quota. So if my quota is 100 MB and I'm at 99 MB, I can still upload a 101 MB file which would then put me at 200 MB, or 200% of my quota. But I can't upload any more.
So my guess is that the student was under their quota but then uploaded a file in the 500 MB range. It let them because they were not over quota yet. I'm hoping that is a sufficient explanation and you are not really wanting something exact to explain the 662% of 104.9 MB.
