[ARCHIVED] Student Activity report content type

Can anyone confirm that the variable 'context' that shows up in the 'content type' field of the Student Activity report is used for external tools?

I have a related question posted in Canvas Developers group about a naming convention change within this report.  Appreciate any help with that too.
