I need to create a new course on Canvas, but I do not see the option to "Start a New Course."

If you are not able to see the Start a New Course button as depicted in How do I start a new course from the Dashboard as an instructor?, it means that your local Canvas admin has disabled that capability for your role (presumably, the teacher role) and has reserved the ability to create new courses to the admin role. Please reach out directly to the local admin or eLearning department for your school to request a new course shell.
