[ARCHIVED] Sports Carnival Totals?

Here we go, I want to do an online sports carnival as most likely ours will not happen at the start of June.  I have thought of some events for the children to do (aimed at Year 3-6).  Some questions -

1.  Is it possible to have tiles for each house and can students be assigned to that house?
2.  If I made each event an assignment and then students were to put in their scores, it would give them assigned points for their event.  My question is - how would I tally the scores for each house

I think you're working on a bigger concept here so I've converted this question to a discussion.  

Hopefully others will chime in and share their thoughts on how to facilitate a virtual carnival.
