[ARCHIVED] Simple tool to make simple choices (branching path)

We have been asked by our library whether there is a simple tool (app/plugin) for Canvas that allows users to make choices and find a solution.

It is about choosing the correct referencing style for a scientific publication. It is a very basic branching path (two choices) – first you choose your field and afterwards you select the referencing style you need more information about.

Do you know of any tool to achieve this? Ideally, the tool would work with Moodle as well (our partner supports several universities, some of them using Moodle).

I've done with my visual arts classes, and students really enjoy it. I have accomplished the "pick a path" set-up using Mastery Paths. However, it's used in a slightly different way. @kona wrote a blog that is wonderful about explaining the set-up: Hacking Mastery Paths
