[ARCHIVED] Running out of storage, shared to Commons, safe to delete?

I am nearly out of storage in my Files section in my course. I have shared some videos to Commons. If I delete them from my Files section, will they remain in Commons? Or does deleting them from my own storage also delete them from Commons?
