[ARCHIVED] Restrict Searching Historical Courses to a Year or Less

Can I restrict old courses from displaying in course search? For example, when an instructor cross-lists two courses, the search displays all courses, even those years old. I want to reduce the length of time a course might appear in a search box.

We don't use cross-listing at our school so I'm not familiar with how this could be changed. Did you ever figure out a way to accomplish this?
