[ARCHIVED] Removing External Tools

Due to challenges when first setting up course, some apps had to be installed multiple times. Now that I have the one that works, I would love to delete the faulty ones. I have them Hidden in Navigation, but they still come up in the list when choosing an External Tool and it would be great if they weren't there.

I cannot find where it says how to remove the apps not being used or that don't work.

Hello @jdempewolf ...

In addition to the information that you've received from @KristinL, I wonder if the LTI external apps that have been added to your school's Canvas environment have actually been added in two different areas?  For example, do you know if Clever and Kuta Works were added at both the Canvas account level and at the course level?  This is the only way I could see that you'd have two separate but identical buttons like you are showing in your screen shot.  Normally, if a LTI app is added at the account level, it is not necessary to also add it at the course level.  Adding the LTI at the account level allows all instructors at your school to add it to their own courses, too.  Adding the LTI at the course level only gives you access to the third-party integration...for that specific course.  There are also many LTI external apps that only allow you to add them at the account level, though there are some that can also be installed at the account level.
