[ARCHIVED] Number of participants in a Conference

I have found several references to a "recommended number of participants" being 100.  Our typically cohort size is 400.  Does anyone have experience in holding conferences for this large of a group?  Also if you've used this large of a group (or close to it), how did the breakout room function work with a lrager group?

I am not sure if there are any limitations on the number of people who can be in the same Conference (BigBlueButton) room at the same time, but  @ffdixon ‌ should be able to help you with this question.  Good luck to you!
