[ARCHIVED] Message All Students: I don't have the "all" option

So I want to send an inbox message to all students in my school regarding a club interest meeting. I read the article on sending messages to all students, but I don't have the "all" option that was mentioned. Is there something I'm missing, or is it disabled for me?

Where exactly are you seeing the mention of the "all" option to send an Inbox message to all students on the system?

Also, what is your role in Canvas?

Hello @KristinaRouth ...

If you are a Canvas administrator at your school, you could post a message as a Global Announcement which could be targeted to all students.  You could set a start date/time and an end date/time for the announcement to be displayed to all students.  Here is the Guide that Canvas admins use to do this: How do I create a global announcement in an accoun... - Instructure Community.
