@jrboek , I don’t believe there is a publicly available list. My recommendation is to contact your CSM and check to see if they could share that type of information with you. Something else you can do is join a regional Canvas User group. Where are you located?

@jrboek , I'm not sure if Oklahoma falls into a regional user group or not. I know Texas has a big group and there's also one for the East Cost, Midwestern, California, etc... My recommendation is to definitely contact your CSM (Customer Success Manager) to get more information. 🙂

CSM stands for Customer Success Manager and every school that uses Canvas has one that you can ask these types of questions to.
I asked for this about 17 months ago from our CSM at Canvas and was not given the list. I think she thought it was a privacy issue, which, it is not. Everyone puts their LMS on their public websites. I needed it because I needed to identify institutions that used 1. Canvas and 2. Jenzabar SIS ( in lieu of Banner, e.g.). Let's get the list!
We use Canvas and Jenzabar! 😉
And I know of maybe a few more for sure that do as well.
We asked for this same thing as well. We would love to know the local high schools in the Chicago area that are using Canvas, as we will know they are prepared when they attend Columbia College Chicago. We use Canvas and Jenzabar as well.
Is there a regional users group for Chicagoland area?
We're in central IL and as far as I'm aware there isn't a Chicagoland area user group.

Yes. I am meeting with the ITT / sql / Jenzabar team in a few minutes. May I say I have found someone we could hopefully hire to fix our SIS/Canvas integration troubles? You'd have to do a bit of paperwork to become a consultant for our university so I can pay you for your expertise.

Hi John,
I know it doesn't meet your criteria of "nearby", but you might consider joining the Canvas R1 Peers Research University Group (if you haven't already). They have an active mailing list, and hold monthly phone calls. It has been a great resource, and is nice to communicate with folks facing similar user bases and challenges.
