In the past students could use MS Office free. How do I find that if it is still available?

Hello  @plt203 ‌, I would check with the tech people at your institution.  I am not aware of any connection between having free Office access and Canvas.  Everywhere I have worked it was based on the contract we had with Microsoft.  This is the first place I have worked where the institution had a contract for all the students to use it.  My past ones it has just been for faculty/staff.
