[ARCHIVED] Lost an Assignment before I completed it

I spent an hour typing an assignment only for it to disappear. I was not ready to save it. How do I recover it?

Hi,  @kallen5 ‌,

Unfortunately, there is not a way to recover this assignment. I'm sorry this happened to you. I encourage you, in the future, to compose anything of significance in a text editor outside of Canvas, where you can make revisions and spell check as necessary–and save your work–before coming back to Canvas to post it. Depending on the particulars of the assignment, Microsoft Word or Google Docs would work well for this.
