Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
That's nifty! It should save me a few minutes of time when I am building courses for instructors so I no longer have to copy/paste HTML code from an existing page to a new page and then edit the new page. #happypanda #happypandadance
Wow... gearing up for InstructureCon maybe??? 🙂
Woo hoo!
I do believe this is the first feature result from the 2017 Project Khaki!
Awesome!

It's true! Look at the information here! Assignment Duplication and Pages Duplication are officially part of the https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-11660-canvas-beta-release-notes-2017-07-05?sr=search&search.... If anyone wants to discuss the possibilities (or excitement!), feel free to jump into the Beta Release Notes (2017-07-03) Collaborative Chat.
SUPER EXCITED!
This will indeed be helpful and a great timesaver for faculty. Thanks for pointing it out, snugent!
One suggestion while this is still under development... When one clicks on the gear and chooses "Delete," can the popup notice include the name of the assignment to be deleted? This is for clarity and to double-check that the correct assignment is being deleted. Currently, it reads, "Are you sure you want to delete this assignment?" I'm suggesting that it read,"Are you sure you want to delete the assignment: <NAME OF ASSIGNMENT>?"
This is also present in the People area when removing a student from a course... It would be extremely useful to have the popup notice read, "Are you sure you want to remove <STUDENT NAME> from the course?" for the same reasons.
Looking forward to debuting the Duplicate feature!
Thanks!

mnieckoski, I agree wholeheartedly with you on this, but a better and more visible place to add this would be the beta release notes - Canvas Beta Release Notes (2017-07-05). Canvas employees monitor and respond to that forum and you'd be more likely to have someone take note of your feedback there.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I actually was looking for a place to send it to the eyes of Canvas, but didn’t know where short of starting a feature request.
I’ve posted it to the Release notes page.
Thanks again!

Excellent!
Actually, the best place is probably a new feature idea.
Per the https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-11159-canvas-community-feedback-guidelines?sr=search&search... - there isn't much we could do with the comment in the release note thread.
wow, its about time they implemented this. Way back 4-5 years ago it was requested and talked about. Hopefully they will eventually get to implementing this into the quizzes. Seems that is the 2nd most requested items that require copying
OMG!!! Beginnings of my Dreams Coming True....copy module! Yippee!
I saw this as well, but I don't see the 'turn on' button in settings/applications. And it has not magically appeared. What is the procedure for making it available?
Are you in Beta? If so, then you should be able to go to the Pages Index page and try it out or the Assignment Index page (just make sure you're testing on an assignment, not a discussion or quiz).
Finally!!! This is very exciting. It will make building courses so much easier. Can't wait for full integration.
hurrah hurrah!
