[ARCHIVED] Locked Modules

I’ve locked all course content and set the modules to unlock on specific days.  However, all modules and course content is freely accessible when students use an iPad?  Am I missing a step?

This is a very significant issue! Modules should match what is set and experienced in the browser.

I tested a live course with a test student, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate the issue of unpublished and/or locked modules in Canvas Student for iOS or Android devices. My student saw the headings within the locked module but was unable to do anything beyond that.

I encourage both of you to reach out to Canvas Support to have the engineers look more into this issue you're experiencing.

@mbmckay and @chadscott - I learned that this is a Known Issue and is documented for Canvas users. Hopefully, this will be a short-lived inconvenience. I'm really glad that the engineers are aware of the problem.
