[ARCHIVED] Keeping students on Canvas after leaving

Hi all.

I'm interested to hear what processes other schools have when a student leaves. My understanding is that we need to keep students' work/evidence of grades but our Canvas account is fast getting cluttered with accounts of students who left a long time ago. Our teachers are also not particularly diligent in concluding enrolments (all manual processes here currently) so I end up spending a lot of time combing through to sort this out.

We do also sometimes have students come back to us and want to restart (we cater for at-risk youth so frequent turn over and return) so need an easy way of retrieving work.
