[ARCHIVED] Is it possible to have both open and closed registration?

The majority of our classes are created and students are enrolled from an SIS import. We want these to stay the same. We are wanting to add courses that are short-term continuing education type courses and we would like to have people self register for those. 

Is there a way to set up two different ways to register?

Hi,  @hawkb . Yes, if the account settings are configured to allow it, there will be a course setting you can use, How do I enable course self-enrollment with a join code or secret URL?
