[ARCHIVED] How to download student work one directory per student and with the original file names

By default, student assignment files are zipped into one large directory, with the students' names prepended to the file names.  I am working with student assignments that consist of several files per student containing programming code.  I need to download them and load them into a programming environment.  For technical reasons, I need the files in a separate directory for each student and with the file names originally provided by the students.  Is there a setting that can save me from having to change each file name and move each file into a student-specific directory?
