[ARCHIVED] How to assign a lesson plan to multiple courses at once.

Our school is on a block schedule. We received little to no training on canvas so we are learning to navigate. When we write a lesson plan we would like to assign it to every class. Thus far we have had to go individually add the lessons to each class. I was hoping someone found a way to upload an assignment and apply it to every class.

Hi there, @Chenoah ...

You are correct that you would need to add the lessons to all courses.  However, if your school would allow it, there is something called "cross-listing".  Essentially what this does is moves all enrollments from one course to another.  So, for example if you had two separate Canvas courses that had exactly the same content, you could cross-list the two courses together so that you're only having to work on content in one of the two courses while still keeping the enrollments for both courses separated out in the "People" page.  Once the two courses are cross-listed, the enrollments move over (not the content).  Here are a couple documents for you to look through:
