[ARCHIVED] How do I use a join code to join with my existing Canvas account?

The students can type the code that was given to by the teacher because some code lead you to create a new account and you want to put in the account you already had.

If the course to students are invited is in the same instance as their existing Canvas account, they should be able to click on a button that reads "I have a Canvas Account" to avoid creating a different one; however, if the invitation comes from a different instance, it requires a different student account with its own set of credentials.
