My peers have written to me, and I often miss their messages. How do I set notifications for these using an IOS device? Thank you for any helpful suggestions!

Here is a guide page with the general instructions for how to set notifications for Canvas Teacher on an iOS device (should be the same for Canvas Student) 

• How do I set Notification Preferences in the Teacher app on my iOS device?

Specifically for messages sent through the InBox, those are referred to as Conversations within notifications.  Make sure you have it enabled for Conversation Message.
