[ARCHIVED] How do I mute a section so students can't see the section?

I want students not to see the Syllabus created by Canvas, so I want to mute it.  How do I do that?

Hi  @snorrbin  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

You can modify what appears in your Course Navigation Menu by going to Settings at the bottom of the menu. 

Then go to the  Navigation tab at the top.

Then drag anything you do not want the students to see down into the bottom section. In your case drag Syllabus down. 

Anything remaining in the top section will be visible to your students.
