[ARCHIVED] How do I make "invisible" folders within Files?

I'm trying to upload images to Canvas to embed in a "Quiz." Canvas seems to want me to use the Files section to store images for embedding, but I have made Files visible to students in order to share course documents with them. I would not like them to see which images I am uploading in advance of the quiz. Is there a way to turn off the visibility of individual folders or files without turning off the Files function? Or is there another way to embed an image in a quiz? I would rather embed than link to my images.

Good afternoon,  @ryan_cook  Thank You for posting your question.  Yes, you can hide folders and files in your course "Files".  You will want to use the option "Only available to students with link" which is described in this Guide: How do I restrict files and folders to students in Canvas?.

Please let Community members know if you have any other questions about this.  Thanks Ryan.  Stay safe, and be well.
