How do I insert a picture on an assignment?

Hi  @mrs_liekhus  Welcome to the Canvas Community and sorry to see that your question has been here a while.  If you are a student....the assignment was probably due by now!  I cannot tell if you are a student or an instructor, but I will assume you are a student. If the assignment had a text box entry-type of requirement, there are instructions for uploading an image here: How do I embed images from Canvas into the Rich Content Editor as a student?  If this was a discussion, there is more information here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10700-4212190965  I hope this helps a bit, Carol....or at least provides some guidance for future reference on other assignments!
