You probably didn't realize it, but you have posted this in a global community of Canvas users. We do not have access to your instance of Canvas to make changes.

Many systems automatically propagate name changes to all the systems, so changing it there may be sufficient. If you have already changed it there and it has been a day or so and still not changed in Canvas, you may wish to use the contact information on the right-hand side of that page to reach out to someone at your institution.
