[ARCHIVED] How do I add the unit objectives onto a page to be stored in a particular unit??

when I try to copy and paste the objectives from google docs for just Unit 8 onto a page within Unit 8, it changes the format.

Usually copy & paste from another place will do funny things when going from one program to another.   

You can copy & paste and then look at the HTML to see all the weird coding that comes in the background.  If you know HTML, maybe you can edit it.   Or Clear Formatting (it's an icon in the RCE) and then format yourself.

Once in Canvas, you can copy and paste text from one Canvas Page to another, and that formatting should be the same....

Another option is to "paste as plain text".  Right click where you want to paste the copied content, then choose "Paste as Plain Text" (This is in Chrome on a Windows 10 machine). There are lots of ways to do this, just google "Paste as plain text" or something similar.  It is a really good habit to get into when copy/pasting from web pages. 

You can also paste the content first into a text editor like Notepad. This strips the formatting, then copy out of notepad.
