You will want to use one of these Guides:

• How do I send a message to all course users in the Inbox as a student?

Also, just so you know...Canvas does not have e-mail.  A recent reply from fellow Community member  @James ‌ does a good job of explaining this more in detail.  See the first paragraph in his response.
