[ARCHIVED] Highlighter in SpeedGrader does not work

In SpeedGrader, nothing happens when I click on the highlighter.  I can select a color, but then I run cursor over text and nothing happens.  I even tried it with my stylus on the laptop's touchscreen, but that will not work either.  What is needed to get that to work?

What type of document are you trying to highlight? The highlighter requires the underlying content to be text. If you have a picture of a page that contains text then it is treated as a picture and does not recognize the text so it cannot highlight it. If you have a PDF that was created by scanning a page, then it may not be text either.

If your document is a conversion from a typical Word document or a PDF that was created by printing to a file, then it should be able to recognize the text.

I have to click over the text several times to make it work. the highlighter  also moves to a different line, which is really frustrating. I am trying to highlight something on paragraph two and the highlighter points at something in paragraph one
