Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
Hello,
Is there a way to get my graded discussions to show up in my gradebook? I can grade on the speedgrader, but it isn't showing up as an actually assignment in the gradebook grid.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Well for some reason it wasn't being shown under my current grading period, despite me assigning it today. Once I changed the filter to all grading periods, it showed up.
Knew it had to be something silly! Thanks for your help!
Good afternoon, @mmack1 ...
This seems a bit odd. Just to be sure...are your discussion topics set as "Graded"? How do I assign a graded discussion to everyone in... - Canvas Community If your topics are "Graded", then you should see a column within your "Grades" page with the same name as your discussion topic name. In your "Grades" page, have you scrolled all the way over to the right to view the columns that are off screen? Do you have any columns that you've re-sized that might not show you the discussion topic name? Have you checked all the other settings and filters within your "Grades" page to ensure that the column isn't being hidden from you? Just trying to narrow things down. Double-check these things and let us know if you are still unable to find what you're looking for. Ultimately, you may need to contact the Canvas Help Desk folks ... since we here in the Community wouldn't have access to your Canvas environment or your course(s) in question. They would be able to look at things with you to do more troubleshooting. How do I contact Canvas Support? - Canvas Community
Looking forward to hearing back from you. Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks! Take care...be well.
I know, it's very strange.
I do have it as a graded discussion.
...so it shows up in my gradebook history, but not in the grades.
