[ARCHIVED] Did assignment editor just change?

I have been editing assignments most of the morning.  I have always had a "tool bar" on the right hand side of the screen to add files, links, images, etc.

That side bar has just disappeared.

Did you guys just change it?  Or did I press something that changed my screen?

Please help me change it back!  I am too used to the format from before and really don't want to learn how to re-navigate...

Me too, but on the page section. I was creating a page and it had the shortcuts on the right hand side and then it updated as I was working on my page. With the new set up I have to click four times more than with the other version. Please change back or provide an option to view/edit with the other format.

The New Rich Content Editor may have been enabled for your school by your Canvas Admin. I would reach out to them with any questions regarding the timing or if it would be possible to temporarily "opt-out". This will be a change that goes into place for all Canvas users by the end of the year. (Upcoming Canvas Changes‌)
