How do I delete content in a "sandbox" course so I can load another course?

Hi David,

The easiest way to remove all content from a course so that you can load new content into it is to use the reset course content‌ option within Canvas. I'm trying to clear the content in my Sandbox to load new content and work with it.  I followed the guide, but the option to "reset course content" does not appear.  To be clear, I'm in Canvas, Sandbox, Settings.  No reset course content option.  Ideas?

Hi @MarkGiannini,

You'll probably need to reach out to your local Canvas Administrator(s), usually located in the IT / eLearning / Digital Education areas, to let them know you'd like your sandbox course reset.  It's likely they chose to not make the reset button available directly to teachers to avoid any potential for an erroneous course reset, which can be very difficult to recover from in some situations.
