[ARCHIVED] Copied Assignments- students can't submit - Why?

When I copy an assignment from a module and just change it's content, the students can't submit their new project....is it because they already submitted in original copy?

I just tested this in a sandbox, and it worked just fine. My test student was able to submit to both assignments.

I did note that when you duplicate an assignment, you need to publish the duplicate. Did you do that?
