How do I find the class I am registered for on Canvas if it is not automatically assigned to me?

One possibility is that the class is not starred. You would need to look at "All courses" when you click on the Courses button.  If it doesn't show up in the list - it is possible that the course is not published or that the district hasn't released the course to the instructors until a few days before school starts.  

If you find your course, you can star it so it automatically shows up on your dashboard every time you log in.
