[ARCHIVED] Changing/Editing the name of course roles

Hi Admins, is it possible to change/edit the names of course roles within Canvas? .i.e. editing the name of the role "teacher" to something more fitting to the naming conventions used in my institution? Or will I be better off creating a custom role based on the "Teacher" role?

I would create a custom role based on the 'Teacher' role and keep the default role 'as-is'.

It would be a nice feature to allow a name change to the role.  For my institution, our Instructional Designer needs widespread access so I wanted to use the "Designer" name for an Account role and change the "Designer" course role to "Coordinator" since the permissions are more appropriate for our department coordinators.
