Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
Hi Everyone,
I am getting excited about heading up to Sydney from Melbourne for CanvasCon in a couple of weeks time.
I am wondering if anyone would be interested in some pre-event networking/idea sharing/discussion on Canvas on the Monday afternoon/night around the Darling Harbour/ICC area?
No doubt many of you are like me and will be racing off to catch flights on Tuesday night after the conference. I am happy to utilise the time as much as possible and am happy to meet any new community faces.
Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out, thank you.
Jacob
Great idea @jacobtowne7 'm keen. I will see who I can rustle up.
I too would be keen!
yep, i'd like to meet any other users - let me know what eventuates. I'll be flying in Monday arvo.
Count me in!
Hi Jacob, I will be there
Fantastic, does anyone know the area or a place we could possibly meet?
(Being from Melbourne I am not too familiar with a good meet up location)
Looking for somewhere around Darling Harbour?
Google possibilities:
There are 3-4 of us coming from Adelaide, will not be in until 6-7pm but would be interested in catching up.
Hi Everyone - I too need to fly in on the Monday. It would be great to catch up and share our Canvas experiences. Please count me in.
Hi Everyone,
Just an FYI update for Monday night.
After getting some recommendations, I have chosen a location that should be close by as most people (I assume) are staying near the ICC at the Novotel or similar:
Time: 6pm onwards
PumpHouse Sydney
17 Little Pier St, Darling Harbour
Please feel free to email me jacob.towne@campaustralia.com.au and we can exchange contact info if you like, otherwise I will be the loner sitting waiting for people at 6pm...dont leave me hanging!
See you Monday night.
Many thanks for arranging this and doing the leg work. See you all there
