[ARCHIVED] Canvas on iPad OS cannot create assignments

On iPad os there is no “+” button in order to be able to create a new assignment.  I can create new discussions and announcements but not new assignments.  Am I missing something?

Hi @Rpacelli -

You're right. At this time, you cannot add Assignments using the app. You can only view and edit existing content. ( How do I view Assignments in the Teacher app on my iOS device? )

With the updated mobile browser support, you should be able to navigate your course from Safari or Chrome, add the assignment, then jump back into Canvas Teacher for the details and simplified interface.
