Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
Hi
So Summer classes start Monday... and I tried the canvas app a while ago and thought, "Meh..."
I tried it again, thinking it might be wise to suggest this to students with slower internet connections. It seems somewhat faster than it used to be, but is it really any faster than the browser?
Does it save anything (like the image on the homepage) or does it re-download everything, every time?
Thanks
Rich
@rniolon ,
The app caches these elements in the app to make the experience faster and have the user rely less on the internet. To test this, turn off the internet on your device and then access the app. You will get some connection errors, but you can still navigate previously viewed files, pages, etc.
Ah - thanks for this. I checked the teacher app and never got beyond the spinning logo. However, the student app does show you some content, based on what you've viewed before.
