[ARCHIVED] Canvas Conversations Not Showing Up in Email?

Whenever an instructor sends a message to me via Canvas I don't receive it in my school email (which is already linked with the account). I made sure the notifications for conversation were "always notify" for all three choices in my account and also made sure the notifications for individual courses were on as well. The weird part is that when I tried sending a message to myself I saw my own message in my email, how does this even work?

The obvious question I must ask is, did you check your email's SPAM or Junk folders? Because, if you have set your Notification Preferences correctly, and it sounds like you have, then you should get notified when you have an Inbox message from your instructor. If you don't find them in your junk folder, then you will need to submit a Support Ticket - Help > Report a Problem.
In the meantime, you should just check your Canvas Inbox daily.
