[ARCHIVED] Authenticate integration as test student

I’ve created an assignment by using a Google doc. I wanted to screencast how to do the assignment and submit it for the students, but when I put it in student view, it won’t let me and I’m not able to authenticate integration without logging in with a google account. How can I do this as a test student? What am I missing?

The "Test Student" role most likely will not work for what you are trying to do.  Google is looking for an e-mail address from Canvas to authenticate, and technically the "Test Student" role does not have an e-mail address associated with it.  So, that is why you are not able to progress further.  To resolve this, see if your school's local Canvas administrator would be able to temporarily give you a "dummy" student login that you could use for your course, and then you should be able to make a screen recording for your students.
