We're having a problem logging into the mobile app on iOS devices for our school. I've opened up a support case that was escalated to developers, but they've been quiet since then. Has anyone experienced something similar?
In the Canvas app, when you search for our school, it opens the login page as you would expect. On a successful login, it loops back to the find your school page and doesn't actually log people in. On an unsuccessful login, the login page gives an error and you can try again (so that part seems to be working well).
It doesn't happen on web, mobile browsers, or the android app. We have a large majority of iOS devices on campus over Android so it's a pain for most of our students.

We found the issue where one institution was unable to login (yours, @buddyhall , and that fix has been pushed to Apple for review as of last week. As soon as we can get through the app review process, the fix will be out. Look for it in 3.11.2.
Not I. On my iOS 9 iPhone, I just logged out of Canvas, force quit the app and was able to login again. Good luck and I hope this is resolved soon!

Sorry it took so long. We had the fix in and submitted to Apple *3 weeks* ago. There were some hangups on their end that made it take so long.
No problem Deactivated user, but now I have another favor to ask. Can we also apply the fix to the Speedgrader app for iPad?
Yes, no problem. I'll get that fixed as well and sent in to Apple.
Ok, it's in the process of getting submitted right now. Look for it in 2.0.2 (as well as a couple other bug fixes).

We haven't experienced login issues, but our students and parents cannot see scores or grades. Canvas said this is an API issue, but doesn't seem to be focused on it as they are building a new app. So now our parents, students, and staff aren't using the Canvas app and word is getting around that "Canvas doesn't work" since Canvas doesn't want to officially put out a statement about why this is not working.
@crawfom , there have been other reports of this in the Community and @rseilham indicated on this discussion from yesterday - Students can't see assignments from the Canvas iOS app? - that "It appears a fix (3.11.3) has just been pushed to the App Store that addresses this issue." Based on this my recommendation is to make sure students/parents are using this updated version (as of yesterday afternoon).
