Bio:
I earned my BFA from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 1994, and my MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University. I started my professional journey as a digital assistant and retoucher at a commercial photography studio in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1995. I also held a position as a staff photographer and writer for a weekly newspaper in Cincinnati. In August of 1998, I joined Antonelli College in Cincinnati as a full-time photography instructor and during my 20-year tenure there, I taught various subjects including traditional film photography, digital imaging, and specialized in the History of Photography and Alternative Imaging techniques. In 2018, I relocated here to begin teaching at Houston Community College. Currently, I am a full-time faculty member in the Digital Photography program and serve as the Digital Communication Department Program Coordinator. Aside from teaching, I actively exhibit my personal fine art photography in regional galleries and showcases.
