Yes that works for a percentage based grade (which my class is) - though if it were all point based then it probably would not be a good option. But otherwise an elegant solution!
I am finalizing our end of quarter grades and the students did not do as well as I thought they would on the final exam. I'd like to adjust the grades so that the highest grade (47 out of 50) gets...
