Bio:
I have been teaching online since 2004 and began higher education teaching in 1975. Prior to that I was a broadcast journalist working in radio and television. I grew up in the New York/New Jersey area and attended university at Colorado State U. in Ft. Collins where I received my BA (political science) and MA (history) degrees. I enlisted in the Army in 1967 and served a one-year tour in Viet Nam during the war. I "retired" as Division Chair of Humanities at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa and continue to teach online from central Arizona.
