Bio:
Karin de Varennes is a Program Specialist II working with OTAN at SCOE. She supports Canvas Adult Educators across the state promoting a training progression for administrator cohorts, educators, and support staff. Additionally, her Systemic-Functional Linguistics (SFL) background and technology connection creates lots of opportunities to support learner variability and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in both her presentations and teaching. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Karin works to assist educators with practical, interactive applications. She holds a Master of Science Degree in e-Learning from California State University East Bay as well as multiple and single subject teaching credentials and a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Cottey College & CSU, Chico and a MS.Ed in eLearning from CSU, East Bay.
