Bio:
Grew up in a very small,beautiful, rural, coal-mining town in the southwest part of Virginia. Worked at a family-owned used-car sales and salvage business my entire life, before moving away to attend college. Started my college career at Southwest Virginia Community College and Radford University. Attended Mary Baldwin University and Virginia Tech to get my M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Ed. Leadership, while teaching for over 10 years at the elementary level. Decided I didn't much like Ed. Leadership, but loved technology. Became a site-tech, webpage manager, and 1:1 Project Manager in ACPS. Moved to Florida about four years ago. The same day I got my Florida DL, I got my Disney Annual Pass - cause, ya know...priorities! After a year in the Technology Coach position for ACPS, was recruited by P.K. Yonge DRS to set-up and manage their Canvas LMS instance.
