Bio:
As a seasoned science teacher, I have assisted staff and colleagues with developing curriculum plans by providing resources, determining needs, setting direction, and implementing strategies to accomplish the goals of the department. I served on the Curriculum and Instruction Council in Stokes County as teacher there and worked one summer developing a Chemistry Course pacing guide. I also participated in North Carolina Praxis Standard Setting Study for Physics in 2009.
I have a spectrum of capabilities, education and training in Information Systems, Programming, Engineering and Physics spanning three decades of technology from analog to digital. In addition, I have a broad foundation of assimilated management experience in many industrial and service fields.
I’ve added experience in simulation modeling, programming, data conversion, Excel, GIS and other databases. I have created budgets, analyzed data both statistically and heuristically and have a deep understanding of the challenges and demands of teaching in the 21st Century.
I am a talented, experienced and innovative problem solver and I can apply myself in diverse, unique, creative and practical ways.
