Bio:
I have spent most of my professional life teaching. Whether the students were 50-year olds re-learning composition, or 15-year-olds struggling through The Crucible, the power of imagination has been invited into the process. Mid-career, I completed a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies at Wayne State University where I researched creativity and education. I taught at Detroit’s Dominican High School spending 7 years as Chair of their English Department. When it closed, I moved Siena where I currently teaches liberal arts and composition courses. I co-designed the liberal arts courses for Siena’s nursing program and have designed many online courses in the past 10 years.
