Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with exporting  and using  rubrics in other applications. Rubrics are a little tricky  and specific to the user so you don't constantly have to copy/import them over. However, if you are trying to export the rubrics to use in Adobe or Google, etc. You would need to  export the entire course: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-export-a-Canvas-course/ta-p/785

Then,  you  can import it elsewhere. Additionally, there  are others who are trying to work on import/exporting rubrics  and you may find some valuable information there:
